Tonight the forecast call for temperatures to dip to 26', so today after work I picked all the peppers and most of the tomatoes and brought them inside to finish ripening. So I can continue preserving them. I pulled the plants and put them on the compost pile. It was a bittersweet moment, the end of this years garden.
